Understanding Islam Academy Presents:
Deen 4 Teens
with Omar Zia
This unprecedented program provides teens with an hour of practical Islamic
teachings and an hour of halal fun!
Instructor Omar Zia, an Educator working with the Peel School Board and a well-known
Khatib and lecturer in Toronto, takes the boys and girls on a journey of fun
learning that focuses on making Islam relevant to their lives.
This interactive program is divided into 5-month modules and will cover the
following topics:
Module 1: Stuff to Know! (40 Hadiths of An-Nawawi)
Saturdays, February 20th - June 26th, 2010
Module 2: Stuff to Believe In! (Aqeeda)
Saturdays, September 25th - January 15th, 2011
Cost: $50 per 4-Month Module (less than $4 a class!)
