Comic Workshop

 

Do you want to help your child express their creative side? Join us with instructor David Anthony for our Islam Through Art Workshop where we’ll help your children develop essential art skills to share stories as a Muslim through comics! They’ll be taught essential concepts like background and foreground. Children will learn how to use basic geometry and planes, the importance of lines and perspectives. They will also gain a deeper understanding of colours and the emotions behind them. By the end of the workshop, children would create: sketchbook comics, mapmaking, comic strips, and much more!

Instructor: David Anthony (an author and illustrator of the book called "Journey")

About the instructor:
David Anthony has a Bachelor’s degree is Illustration and is an author and illustrator of ‘Journey’, which is a graphic novel about his personal journey to Islam. David has drawn, directed, and edited many cartoons that have been screened across the globe.
