Comic Workshop

Do you want to help your child express their creative side? Join us with instructor David Anthony, who will teach his comic skills to your child through our workshop called Islam Through Art. Your child(ren) will develop essential art skills to share stories as a Muslim through comics! 

This program is created and taught by david-anthony, designed to teach children Islamic values and lessons through a dynamic and engaging format - comics! By providing students with a popular and extremely fun medium to explore, they can find creative and unique ways to express and learn about their Islamic heritage and core values as young Muslims. 

If you would like to register your child(ren) into UIA's Islam Through Art Workshop, please register below. New students (those who didn't attend the December class) can still sign-up and join the January/ February classes!

Time: 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM
Age: 7-14
- $30/per class per child; or $75 for all 3 class per child
- $5 supply fee per child

Instructor: David Anthony (an author and illustrator of the book called "Journey")

About the instructor:
David Anthony has a Bachelor’s degree is Illustration and is an author and illustrator of ‘Journey’, which is a graphic novel about his personal journey to Islam. David has drawn, directed, and edited many cartoons that have been screened across the globe.
