Adhaan Workshop

Have you ever asked your child or another child to do the adhaan, but they shied away? During these moments, it's easy to blame our kids for not having enough confidence or taking initiative. What we don't realize is being a muadhin (caller to prayer) is an honorable role that often requires some training, practice and time to master and carry out with confidence.

To register:

On Sunday, December 24th, UIA will be having an Adhaan workshop for children aged 7+. This workshop will include but is not limited to tone, pitch, tajweed, memorization, and much more. By the end of the workshop, the students will be aware of the basics of giving the adhan and will be able to start practicing during their own time, so they can gain enough confidence and practice to say "YES" the next time someone asks them to do the adhaan. The workshop will be conducted by Shaykh Huzaifah Khan from ISNA.
