 Let’s Talk: Workshop & Dinner –

April Topic: “Muslim Cool”

With Br. Ahmed Saleh

(Saleh Enterprise)

In High School, you often find yourself in the following situation:

Instead of focusing on assignments and getting good grades like you thought high school was all about, suddenly all everyone’s efforts shift into trying to fit in to different social circles and “being cool”.

But what is “being cool”, anyway? Should we be trying to be cool? Is it important to fit in with “the cool people”?

Most importantly, what does Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) say about “being cool” and fitting in?

Join Br. Ahmed Saleh to discuss the concept of being cool and fitting in with others in Islam.
