Are you finally ready to take charge of your future?
Are you hoping this year will be better than last year?
I hate to break it to you but simply hoping is not good enough. You need a game plan. You need the right set of tools and skills to be successful. You've been taught that getting ready for school means focusing on materialistic things - school supplies, clothes, and gadgets. But that's not true. You're missing the most important item. The Success Mindset!
Your most valued asset is your mind. The more you invest into it, the higher you can climb. When you've spent time and energy cultivating and mastering your mind properly, you will power through and conquer every obstacle in your path until you've achieved your goal! That is the power of the right mindset! It gives you permission to envision a limitless future!
So what is the success mindset and how do you cultivate it?
That's exactly what we will be diving into with the Blueprint For Success course. We've covered every area possible to make sure you leave this two day course with a superior toolkit to make this your best year thus far!
These are some of the things we will be focusing on:
Belief System: There are multiple factors in your environment that have shaped the level of success you think you can achieve. What beliefs do you have about your success? Are these beliefs limiting you or empowering you? Successful people have a different way of thinking. They've developed a superior mindset that enables them to achieve their goals inspite of overwhelming obstacles, and the best part is, it's 100% learnable. You don't have to be born with this mindset. You can consciously cultivate it.
Developing Grit: First of all, what is grit? And how is it related to success? Grit is passion and perseverance for long-term goals. You might be thinking it's an individual's IQ (how smart someone is) that will determine their level of success. That's 100% inaccurate my friend. The most important indicator of success is whether you have grit or no grit. We're going to be spending a lot of time on this concept.
Vision: Are visions just for organizations or companies? Definitely not. It's for anyone who wants to take charge of where they end up. It's for anyone who wants to create a compelling future that enables them to leave behind a powerful legacy. If you don't care where you end up, then asking for directions is useless. That's why we're going to spend time exploring and clarifying your life vision so you can start working towards it today.
Science of Goal Setting: Why do we set goals in the first place? It's quite simple actually. We set goals to understand how to act today. To understand how to act and behave in the present so that we can attain both our short-term and long-term goals. Goals propel us forward, focus our energy, and provide motivation. How many times have you set goals but not been able to follow through? That's exactly what we will be focusing on.
Time management: Do you feel like there's never enough time? Between school, maybe work, family commitments, hanging out with friends, checking facebook and snapchat, and some other extra-curricular activities, there's not a lot of time left over right? But what if you could effectively and efficiently manage your time while excelling at school and having time to enjoy other activities? That's not a magical myth. It can exist and I'll teach you how.
Productivity: Now that you've blocked out time to get important tasks and project completed, what's the most effective use of your time? You see, time management is not the same thing as productivity. Good time management skills allow you to allocate your time effectively whereas being productive allows you to get more done within that time period. We're going to talk about tools and strategies for prioritizing and focusing your energy to get the most done in a time block.
Emotional Regulation: Did you know emotional regulation (the ability to control your emotions) has actually been linked with higher academic success? You'd think it sounds pretty obvious but there's actually been a lot of research on this topic. We're going to talk about strategies for experiencing better mental health and self-regulation, which is going to help you in all areas of your life.
Communication Skills: Would you be surprised if I told you that by improving your communication skills you would experience higher levels of academic success? Not just academic success but overall success and well-being? The ability to use language effectively and competently to engage with those around you can be a great asset in life. We're going to be discussing how to navigate high-stress conversations both at school and at home.
Forming Habits: Habits are extremely important. These are automatic routines that if used appropriately, free up our time and thinking space for higher level activities. Our brains are wired to look for and recognize patterns. Unfortunately, our subconscious mind cannot differentiate between a good habit or a bad habit. Anything that is repeated over time has the potential for becoming a habit. We are what we repeatedly do. That's why we're going to be talking about how to break bad habits and form good habits that serve our vision and purpose.
Taking Action: "Without knowledge action is useless, and without action knowledge is futile."It's great to learn stuff, but what use is it if we are unable to better ourselves by actually using that knowledge? I'm going to teach you how to take action consistently, even if you feel really blah.
