Why Attend this ISLAMinar?

If we compared the achievements of the Muslim women during the Prophet, peace be upon him's, time to the stereotypical assumption of the image of Muslim women today, we would see an astounding contrast.

Where the women during the golden era were ingrained with a passion for knowledge, leadership, and were not shy in speaking out about their rights and opinions, today’s society holds the misconception that Islam encourages Muslim women to be meek, oppressed, and spiritless.

It is of paramount importance that Muslim women know and understand:

  • What are the rights and responsibilities for a woman in Islam?
  • Where is the balance in domestic duties versus our obligation to obtain knowledge?
  • What is the importance of leaving a legacy in our communities?
  • Should Muslim women disregard their goals and dreams to focus on family life?

Join Sr. Hafsa Dean Thompson for a LIVE webinar for a discussion about the empowerment of Muslim Women and practical tips in striving to follow the examples of the esteemed and noble women around the Prophet, peace be upon him.
